Kamifukai (Full name: Kamifurano Winter Mountain Safety Committee) is a local voluntary group in Kamifurano-cho, Hokkaido founded in 2006, with a mission to increase mountain safety awareness and local rule adherence.
In addition to public notification of local rules, we maintain avalanche hazard maps, and provide avalanche safety training.
