Kamifu mountain area (around Mt. Furano  Sandanyama) are known for one of the best fields for back-country ski in Hokkaido.  However, the risks of avalanches are significantly increasing in recent years.  Therefore, we are making efforts proactively in order to prevent avalanche accidents.

This seminar has two different courses for two types of students: a regular course for beginners, and and an advanced course for people who have already taken 2-days avalanche seminar in the past, which includes actual hands-on trainings to learn practical skills for protection from avalanches.
